I'm sure you are all trying to remember the other words to this song that was played all over the radio in the late 90's early 2000's. (It's called
Lullaby by Shawn Mullins...just so you don't over exhilarate yourself trying to remember what it is.) As I was listening to this song earlier tonight...the chorus just kept playing over and over in my head. This has been a long hard week for my family and I, as my Grandpa went home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, I have been sick and other big changes coming in my near future. As I listened to the chorus, "Everything's gonna be alright, Rockabye, Rockabye" it was almost as if my Savior was singing it over me. He sees the tears, hears the cry's, and feels the pain that we are all going through, but He is singing over us, reminding us that He is STILL right there, He is never going to leave us, He will sing over us and remind us that as long as we continue to lean on Him that "Everything's gonna be alright!" He wants to rock us to sleep just like a new father does his son, He wants to hold us close during the hard times and sing over us. He loves us just the way we are! And Everything is truly gonna be alright!
